| Notes: | Kit reproduction (sort of... original Colt 1851 was only made in .36 calibur) purchased and assembled by David P. Gerbig. Later left disassembled and in pieces in a plastic bag. Reassembled by Stan M. Gerbig in Sept of 2012. I remember firing this gun once or twice as a kid.... probably around 10 years old (so about 1981 or so). I haven't been able to determine why the gun was disassembled, but that obviously happened before 2001. There were some problems with the trigger (perhaps the cause of, or perhaps a result of the disassembly) such that it was frozen in place. | ||
